Processing Example 7: Bearing Parts

In cutting processing, the inner diameter after heat treatment is finished to Φ7±0.005.

As a machining example from Nagaoka Seiki, we would like to introduce bearing parts. In our cutting process, the inner diameter after heat treatment is finished to Φ7±0.005 (with SUJ2, we maintain the inner diameter within ±5μ through cutting alone). Since distortion occurs after heat treatment, we take that into account during the cutting process. At Nagaoka Seiki Manufacturing, we accept precision parts cutting using NC automatic lathes, from common materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass to difficult-to-machine materials.
