Attention those troubled by die-cast pin melting!! An excellent melting-resistant coating has been completed through melting tests.
The QLIMAQ LELLYON series enhances heat crack resistance by incorporating an intermediate layer and reduces pinholes through its multilayer structure. As a result, it exhibits superior wear resistance compared to the current TiAlN and CrN coatings. Additionally, there is a new coating called LELLYON-BZ, which is more resistant to heat and wear than CL and ATL. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
The following demonstrates that in the melting loss test, under high load conditions (twice the rotation speed and immersion time), LELLYON ATL showed almost no melting loss compared to TiAlN and CrN. 【Content of Wear-Resistant Coating】 ■Test Conditions Test specimen material: SKD61 (HRC48) Test specimen dimensions: φ10×100 (50 immersion) Number of test specimens: 1 test with 4 pieces Movement of test specimens: 60 rpm (current coating is 30 rpm) Type of aluminum melt: ADC12 Aluminum melt temperature: 670℃±20 Immersion time: 8 hr (current coating is 4 hr) ■Test Results TiAlN・CrN → Melting loss progresses starting from pinholes. CL・ATL → Despite the high load test (twice the rotation speed and immersion time) compared to the current coating, L→ELLYON CL shows small holes but no significant melting loss. ☆ Despite the high load test compared to the current coating, LELLYON ATL showed almost no melting loss.
