Advantages of Skinning ■ Cutting is performed using skinning dies to remove surface defects and optimize. ■ Compatible with wire diameters of 20mm and above. Flexibly accommodates various wire diameters. ■ The depth of skinning ranges from 0.01mm to 0.25mm on one side (depending on the depth of the scratch). ■ It is possible to design a skinning drawing line that incorporates a skinning unit into a drawing machine. ■ Line speeds can reach up to 3 m/s for steel wire and up to 40 m/s for non-ferrous materials (varies by application). ■ The Kieselstein skinning unit achieves uniform skinning thickness due to new accident investigation features. ■ Processing is possible at a lower cost compared to turn peeling. ■ Accurate chip removal adjustments can be made due to the relationship between the die and the skinning die.
