The Piercing Device Series 6000 is a tool for testing the gas volume of carbonated beverages, regardless of whether they are in glass bottles, PET bottles, or cans. It is equipped with a dual-scale pressure gauge (0-60 psi & 0-4.2 kg/cm²) and an adjustable 2-inch dial thermometer (25/125ºF & -5/55ºC), and there are types available for measuring up to 1 liter and 3 liters. With the Series 6000 Piercing Device, it is necessary to use the included chart to convert the gas volume; however, by replacing the pressure gauge and thermometer with the DGV-1, it becomes the Series 14000 (DGV-1 Piercing Device), allowing for easier and more accurate measurement of gas volume.
