For pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery manufacturers. Case studies on solving issues with chemical-resistant coatings!
By ensuring film thickness, we enhance chemical resistance and add rust prevention features!" ~Challenges~ In chemical plants, there are trace amounts of chemical odors and vaporized gases lingering indoors. This phenomenon has led to the corrosion of painted control panels and equipment. A coating with effective chemical resistance was needed. ~Proposal~ To enhance the rust prevention effect of metals, we proposed a phosphoric acid coating treatment instead of just degreasing as a pre-treatment. Additionally, we suggested using high-performance powder coatings to improve chemical resistance. ~Results~ By switching to powder coating, we were able to secure the coating film, which improved the rust prevention effect of the metal. Simultaneously, the phosphoric acid coating treatment increased the adhesion between the coating and the metal, further enhancing the rust prevention effect. ● For more details, please inquire about the "Painting Handbook for Designers.

basic information
**About the Thickness of Powder Coating** One of the characteristics of powder coating is the thickness of the coating film. While liquid paints such as solvent-based paints typically have a film thickness of 10 to 30 microns, powder coatings can achieve a film thickness of 30 to 150 microns in a single application. Additionally, by using a preheating method, it is possible to achieve high film thickness coatings. The current limit for film thickness is considered to be 150 to 200 microns. In recent years, the development of thin film powder coatings has also progressed, expanding the range of thickness adjustments.

We must now protect the Earth's environment. Under this significant theme, in order to maintain coexistence and symbiosis with nature, we need to fundamentally change our traditional ways of thinking. In the field of painting, we must radically rethink everything from paints, painting methods, to painting equipment, and establish a way of working that takes the environment into consideration. Moving forward, we aim to break free from small frameworks and embrace new challenges for the future. We will produce powder coatings in the necessary colors and quantities (starting from one case) when needed.
