The G standard established for cylindrical and flat surface fixation according to JIS standards (JIS B2401) is a size series widely used in various fields within Japan. The G standard is one of the O-ring dimension standards established by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). It is utilized in many industries as O-ring sizes for cylindrical and flat surface fixation. Additionally, there is a dimension standard derived from the G standard called the GS standard, which maintains a wire diameter of 3.1 mm for O-ring sizes with an inner diameter of 150 mm or more, where the G standard would result in a wire diameter of 5.7 mm.
