The shape of both the vest and pants has been changed to make work easier compared to conventional wear. Even in tasks that require significant movement of the lower limbs, by equipping the wear with under-protectors, it is possible to enhance the mobility of the lower limbs while also protecting the reproductive organs, which are more susceptible to radiation. The radiation shielding effect is equivalent to that of the conventional E-400 wear, cutting 92.2% of X-rays, 4.4% of gamma rays, and up to about 50% of mixed radiation within nuclear power plant premises. The most notable feature of this product is the surface material of the wear, which has been treated with a special surface processing technology called "TX," developed by Yamamoto Chemical Industry from high-speed swimsuit materials, allowing it to effectively repel moisture that adheres to the surface. Therefore, it can also be worn over radiation protective clothing to prevent the adhesion of radioactive substances.
