Impressions are taken of the oral cavity with formed abutment teeth and replaced with gypsum. This gypsum model is scanned and used to design the desired dental prosthetics (inlays, crowns, bridges, etc.) on a PC. Using this data, a milling machine processes and finishes the designed prosthetics. The cutting materials include WAX, PMMA, and zirconia, which are selected based on their applications. This system is limited to the production of crowns and bridges due to the milling machine's four-axis processing capability. However, in the production of prosthetics covered by insurance, the introduction of labor-saving devices such as automatic polishing machines has become possible, allowing for improved work efficiency due to the stabilization of quality.
