A new technology that enables mass production of intricate shapes that are difficult to achieve with cutting processes! It eliminates the high material costs unique to copper.
Copper is a metal that excels in electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, and is used in various applications, including electronic devices, resulting in the existence of many complex and finely shaped copper parts. Taihei Industry proposes cost reduction solutions through the adoption of Metal Injection Molding (MIM) for current mass-produced parts, which have high material costs and poor material yield when produced by cutting, as well as for complex-shaped parts that are difficult to process by cutting in the first place. We can accommodate a variety of copper-based materials, from pure copper to brass, nickel silver, and cupronickel! Taihei Industry proposes cost reduction solutions through the adoption of MIM for current mass-produced parts, which have high material costs and poor material yield when produced by cutting, as well as for complex-shaped parts that are difficult to process by cutting. *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us directly.

basic information
Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is a composite manufacturing technology that combines plastic injection molding and metal powder metallurgy. It differs from traditional injection molding of molten metal, which uses solid metal materials, such as die casting and thixomolding. While these molding methods are similar in that they inject metal materials into molds to obtain products in their final shapes, MIM uses metal micro-powder as the raw material, which is not melted but instead mixed with a binder and then injected to form the shape. The formed body is then subjected to debinding and sintering to produce high-precision metal parts. This method can process complex three-dimensional shapes and has potential applications in a wide range of fields, including precision instruments, electrical and communication devices, as well as automotive and medical equipment, leading to an expanding demand for this processing technique.

Company information
Taiho Industry Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Japan Micro MIM Holdings Co., Ltd., and is responsible for the manufacturing of μ-MIM in collaboration with TAISEI KOGYO (THAILAND) CO., LTD. By using our self-developed feedstock (MIM raw material), we can mass-produce fine and high-precision metal parts that are difficult to manufacture with conventional MIM. We excel in areas that were previously challenging, suitable for parts with thin sections, products requiring high dimensional accuracy, and mass-produced items that demand high process capability indices, regardless of steel types or alloys. We have established a rapid and reliable evaluation system using the world's most advanced measurement and analysis equipment, directly linked to development speed. We cater to a wide range of industries, including not only medical devices but also optics, communications, and industrial equipment.
