This is a type of sliding valve, where a partition plate called a slider moves up and down internally to block and close the flow path. The pumping volume generated when the diaphragm valve opens and closes, as well as the dead volume that can lead to liquid pooling, is nearly zero, eliminating negative factors that could reduce the accuracy of analysis and dispensing.
