This fluorescent light is an LED equivalent to a traditional 40W fluorescent bulb and is equipped with a motion sensor that only turns on when it detects movement. It automatically turns off about 17 seconds after movement ceases. The power consumption when lit is 18W, which represents a 50% reduction compared to traditional bulbs, and since it turns off when no one is around, the reduction effect is even greater.
