GeoDict is an innovative material development simulation that facilitates the generation of various porous material structures such as lithium-ion secondary batteries, fuel cells, all-solid-state batteries, filter media, composites, structural components/high-performance materials, textiles, and non-woven fabrics, while optimizing their material properties and functions. It provides a wide range of analysis functions for generating 3D structures at nm to mm scales through image processing/loading of FIB-SEM images and input of geometric parameters, as well as geometric shape analysis and performance evaluation. By using the digital twin created through GeoDict simulations in conjunction with or as a replacement for the traditional material development process based on samples and test pieces, the development of new materials and high-performance materials can be accelerated.

GeoDict easily generates geometries of various material structures that have been difficult to create with 3D CAD systems, and simulates various material properties influenced by microscopic structures through computer assistance. It is capable of generating structures of various virtual materials through parameter input and random numbers, as well as reconstructing three-dimensional structures from CT images of actual samples obtained from 3D-SEM or FIB-SEM. The resulting structures can be calculated using either its unique solver or general-purpose solvers from other companies. GeoDict has three main features: 1. Modeling Function Intuitive modeling of three-dimensional structures from images, including porous materials and fiber materials. 2. Structural Analysis Function Calculation of percolation paths, pore size distribution, surface area, porosity, fiber orientation, and more. 3. Property Analysis Function Fluid calculations, structural analysis, thermal/electrical conductivity calculations, diffusion, capillary pressure, filter characteristics, and more.
