Simulating breathing patterns (spontaneous breathing) from newborns to adults.
The ASL5000 is a high-precision breathing simulator controlled digitally. It performs accurate and stable simulations by moving the piston within the cylinder through pressure data feedback. Modeling of patient lungs (settings for compliance, airway resistance, respiratory effort pressure profiles, etc.) is done on a dedicated software interface. ○ Excellent stability and reproducibility Due to its structure that does not use springs or orifices, it excels in stability and reproducibility. ○ Modeling of patient lungs (creation of breathing patterns) It allows for the setting of one or two compartments, linear/non-linear compliance, airway resistance (independent for inhalation and exhalation), and respiratory effort pressure profiles. ○ Confirmation of created breathing patterns In demo mode via a computer, calculated values such as flow at the mouth, pressure, and ventilation volume can be confirmed. ○ Simulation execution via scripts By creating scripts, flexible simulation settings are possible, including single breaths, multiple breaths, and continuous breathing with combinations of different breathing patterns. ○ Lightweight, portable design Weighing 10 kg (with a 3 L cylinder), it is also portable.
