○ 5 types of breathing patterns In addition to normal breathing known as eupnea (resting breathing), you can select from representative abnormal breathing patterns such as Cheyne-Stokes respiration, Biot's respiration (ataxic breathing), Kussmaul respiration, and apneustic respiration (breath-holding during exhalation). ○ Setting respiratory parameters You can set parameters such as tidal volume, respiratory rate, and I-E ratio according to the characteristics of each breathing pattern. ○ Insertion of apnea (pause) You can set periods of apnea during the breathing cycle. ○ Patient lung modeling You can set compliance (via springs) and airway resistance (via orifices). ○ Display of waveforms and numerical data on a computer (optional) With optional graphic software, you can display waveforms and numerical data such as flow, volume, pressure, and P/V loops on a computer screen.
