It is suitable for measuring the parallelism of machine tool mounting surfaces, the flatness of tables, and the machining accuracy on machining centers. While the straightness of metal or stone straight edges measuring 3000mm is between 7 to 14μm, ceramic versions can achieve high-precision measurements of less than 2μm.
