basic information
"HPC Pipe" is the general term for our original FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) pipes. Our FRP pipe "HPC Pipe" uses prepreg sheets, which are materials that have been pre-impregnated with resin and are in a semi-cured state, made from carbon fiber (CFRP) or glass fiber (GFRP). These sheets are wrapped around a mold to form the pipe. This manufacturing method is called "Sheet Winding (SW) Method," and it allows for a flexible laminate structure, from ultra-thin pipes to thicker ones, which is difficult to achieve with other methods. It is also suitable for small lot production. Furthermore, composite pipes can be formed with metals, resins, natural wood, and other materials.
