Shimokawa Co., Ltd. was established in 1984, and as the local industry developed, transactions with major companies increased, leading to an expansion of our business. Around 1997, at Hitachi's Kanagawa factory, 108 helicoils were used to attach circuit boards to the aluminum frame of a supercomputer. Due to the difficulties of the attachment process and the need for measures against defects such as chips, we collaborated with Hitachi's engineers to develop the "Taper Tack," which later received a patent. Through this collaboration during development, we secured the manufacturing and sales rights for Taper Tack with Hitachi, supplying them with 200,000 units of Taper Tack, receiving gratitude from workers for achieving zero defects. Taper Tack is a widely applicable fastening component for soft materials that utilizes a tapered fixing method. Additionally, it is an environmentally friendly "eco-component" that is easy to separate for disposal and allows for the recycling and reuse of materials, so please give it a try.
