[Case Study] Improving sanitary parts with ideas and processing technology to enhance work efficiency.
Improve sanitary parts with ideas and processing technology to enhance workability!
There is a line at a detergent manufacturer that performs pigging cleaning in sanitary piping, but they have consulted us because they are having trouble recovering the pigs. *Pigging cleaning involves inserting and running a spherical or bullet-shaped object (made of rubber or resin) that is nearly the same diameter as the pipe's inner diameter to discharge residual liquid. Issues: 1. The shape of the receiver has sharp protrusions that can damage the pigs. 2. Recovering the damaged pigs is labor-intensive. 3. There is a possibility that the pigs cannot be completely recovered, leading to contamination of the raw materials and resulting losses. 4. The piping line and components are imported and do not easily accommodate specification changes.

basic information
We proposed to manufacture the pig receiver part using the supplied piping components and to perform welding and buff polishing. Points: 1. The design of the receiver part will be considered to avoid damaging the pig. 2. The pig receiver will be designed to minimize flow reduction as much as possible. 3. We will combine the main piping components (imported) with the manufactured parts and carry out welding and polishing processes. 4. We will create production parts and assembly drawings in advance for your review of the improvement proposals.
