Tile waste is generated in large quantities (900,000 tons annually) due to the rebuilding and renovation of buildings. Typically, it is transported to stable landfills and buried, but due to its shape, it is not very efficient for landfill. Therefore, Ecosystem Co., Ltd. has developed permeable special paving products and water-retaining composite concrete products called "K-Grand" by crushing this tile waste for use as aggregate. It is recycled as an environmentally friendly underground infiltration paving. Currently, we are expanding this business know-how nationwide through franchising and establishing a local production and consumption recycling network for tiles. We are working on tile recycling across all of Japan. Initially, Mobacon was developed to produce our tile recycling concrete paving materials.
