iMAG aligns all LED chips supplied in bulk by a parts feeder in one direction through image inspection, conducts electrical characteristic testing, and then inserts them into carrier tape after re-evaluating polarity and alignment. It is a high-speed taping device specifically for LEDs that performs posture and defect detection through image detection from the top side within the carrier tape, sealing cover tape only on good products and winding them onto a reel. As an option, it can also sort out defective products through image inspection after tape insertion and perform automatic replacement.
