The nanosecond pulse laser light is focused on a liquid containing nanoparticles for detection. Plasma is generated each time the particles intersect with the laser beam, which is detected by an acoustic sensor. Using the latest dedicated algorithms and calibration data, size distribution and concentration are derived from plasma statistics.
