The design begins with a high-efficiency HD volume phase holographic grating that provides maximum diffraction efficiency and minimal stray light. To achieve excellent image quality and high transmittance, a properly AR-coated custom lens design is required at this f/#. To create an integrated system, a back-illuminated silicon array is used alongside low-noise electronics. The final step is to use a high NA fiber power converter that effectively combines all the light sampled with a laser spot at the slit.
