The aluminum housing of the SM255 allows for stable optical measurements over a wide temperature range. Spectral Products Inc. provides standard UV coating for the CCD to be used up to 200nm. With standard UV coating and customized sorting filters, there are two most popular wavelength ranges: 200-900nm and 380-760nm.
