The cube beam splitter consists of two right-angle prisms coated with a special dielectric coating. The polarizing cube beam splitter divides a laser beam into two orthogonal polarization components or is used to combine them into one beam. It transmits P-polarization and reflects S-polarization at 90°. In low-power applications, the cube is assembled using a transparent refractive index matching adhesive at the junction with two 90° right-angle prisms. It can be used up to 1064nm at 1 J/cm².
