It reliably detects overload, disconnects the input and output by the drive key coming off the groove, and automatically reconnects at the same torque and the same indexing position once the overload is removed. The torque setting is done with a built-in torque spring, eliminating the hassle of fine adjustments. Additionally, it serves as a flexible coupling and can be used in both axial alignment and wrapping methods.
