This is a special screw that allows for consistent fastening, as the screw head will strip at the optimal torque when tightened.
It is a special fastening component that causes the screw head to shear off at the targeted torque when tightened. Since it is fundamentally a screw, it is held in place by axial force. ■ Even with variations in tightening methods, consistent fastening can be achieved. ■ It can prevent over-tightening. ■ The screw head shears off at the end of fastening, allowing for visual confirmation of completion. ■ Specifications can be set to allow for easy removal with pliers or similar tools. ■ It can prevent tampering or unauthorized loosening. *For data or material requests, please feel free to contact us through the Yamashina website: http://www.yamashina.ne.jp/

basic information
■ A groove is set between the head of the screw and the screw body. Due to the action of this groove, it is designed to break at the targeted torque. ■ This product is designed based on the target torque for breaking that we receive from our customers. ■ The head of the screw can be designed in various shapes such as cross slots or hexagons according to your requirements. * For data or material requests, please feel free to contact us through the Yamashina website: http://www.yamashina.ne.jp/

Structure of a screw with a cutting thread 1. Insert the threaded part into the female thread and twist the head to rotate it like a regular screw, initiating the fastening. 2. The stopper makes contact with the counterpart material, stopping the rotation and generating axial force. 3. If you continue to screw it in, the head side will break off from the cutting thread groove at the optimal torque. 4. To remove it, grip the return section with pliers or similar tools and turn it in the reverse direction. For the prevention of tampering and fraud, it is also possible to design products without a return section.
Company information
Established in 1917, during the dawn of mass production of screws in Japan, the company succeeded in producing the first domestic cross-recessed screws in 1949 and cooperated with the government to domesticate tapping screws in 1954. We hold data on over 200,000 types of screws and bolts, enabling us to manufacture a variety of products with high quality. Recently, we have been focusing on research and development investments, working on tapping bolts with a diameter of 6mm or more, high-strength aluminum bolts, tapping screws for thin steel plates, and tapping screws for CFRP, which will support the next generation. We are committed to challenging innovative technology development without being bound by history.
