Even without an anti-reflective coating, it has a high transmittance rate exceeding 70%, and its heat resistance is relatively good, making it ideal for far-infrared transmission materials in high-temperature environments where cooling windows is difficult. The yellowish IR grade product has low transmittance for visible and near-infrared light, with absorption at 6μm and 11μm, making it suitable for use in the 8-10μm infrared range. The colorless transparent Cleartran has absorption at 11μm but exhibits nearly flat transmittance characteristics from visible to infrared. It is suitable for gas analysis, radiation temperature measurement, far-infrared cameras, thermal tracking devices, etc. Dome fabrication is also possible.
