The Smart Substation Standard IEC 61850-3 28-Port Modular Managed Rack-Mount Ethernet Switch The PowerTrans PT-7528 series is designed for power substation automation applications operating in extremely harsh environments. Utilizing Moxa's latest Noise Guard(TM) technology, the PT-7528 series not only complies with IEC 61850 but also exceeds the IEEE 1613 class 2 standard for EMC immunity to guarantee zero packet loss while ensuring wire-speed transmission. The PT-7528 series features critical packet prioritization (GOOSE, SMV, and PTP), a built-in MMS server, and a specially designed setup wizard necessary for substation automation. Additionally, equipped with Gigabit Ethernet, redundant ring, and 110/220VDC/VAC isolated redundant power supplies, the PT-7528 series further enhances communication reliability and reduces cabling/wiring costs.
