27th Precision Engineering Society Technical Award Winner! [Texture Processing Compatible] for Ultra-Precision Micro Machining
The vibration cutting method is a processing technique that significantly reduces cutting resistance by intermittently cutting with the tool tip vibrating at ultrasonic frequencies. When the tool tip is vibrated in a circular or elliptical motion using the bending vibration mode and longitudinal vibration mode, the cutting resistance can be reduced to less than 1/5, and particularly the radial cutting force becomes almost zero, enabling ultra-precision cutting of STAVAX with a diamond tool. By using the ultrasonic elliptical vibration cutting device 'EL-50Σ', it becomes possible to achieve ultra-precision micro-machining of high-hardness molds that were previously considered impossible. 【Features】 ○ No complex electrical adjustments are necessary → Ultra-precision elliptical vibration cutting can be performed simply by turning on the power switch of the controller. ○ The oscillation frequency is increased to 41 kHz → The elliptical vibrator is miniaturized to fit in the palm of your hand. ○ The vibrator case has a high-rigidity structure → Installation on the tool holder is also easy. Since our founding in 1952, we have consistently been involved in the manufacturing of ultrasonic-related equipment, and we have now grown into a group of specialists in ultrasonic technology. By using ultrasound, which operates in a frequency range that humans cannot perceive, we can achieve very quiet and efficient processing. For example, when a cutting tool is vibrated ultrasonically, the cutting edge vibrates at high speed, resulting in cutting performance several times greater than normal. Additionally, it is widely used in various fields such as welding, cleaning, peeling, polishing, and drilling. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage the technologies we have developed to strive for further advancements.
