Sleeve, chip, bush. From used recycled products to new manufacturing.
Generally, aluminum die-casting chips were made from SKD61 hot work tool steel, but recently there are also chips made from cost-effective chrome-molybdenum steel (SCM). After wear from use, during the dimensional restoration and overlay welding regeneration process, at Nishino Manufacturing, SKD61 material is used for overlay welding on the outer diameter of such chips, and unique heat treatment and nitriding processes are applied for dimensional restoration. The performance of these chips is almost on par with those made from conventional SKD61 hot work tool steel. 【From Used Regenerated Products to New Manufacturing】 ○ Thermal spray chips for aluminum die-casting ○ Die-casting plunger chips ○ Die-casting plunger sleeves For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
【Features】 ○ The thermal spray coating has wear resistance and a low friction coefficient against metal-to-metal friction, allowing for good sliding with the opposing component's sliding surface. It also excels in heat resistance and corrosion resistance, with material selection possible depending on usage conditions. ○ The types of materials include cobalt-based alloys and nickel-based alloys, and to further enhance wear resistance, there are materials that incorporate and disperse tungsten. ○ Generally, the high-temperature hardness of thermal spray materials remains almost unchanged from room temperature hardness up to about 450 degrees. ○ Unlike heat-treated hardened steel, which can become annealed when used at high temperatures, thermal spray materials return to their original hardness when cooled to room temperature. ○ The hardness of thermal spray materials primarily used ranges from HRS45 to HRS60. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Nishino Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in 1971 (Showa 46) in Muroran, Hokkaido, as a company specializing in the production of machine parts. Initially, our main business was the manufacturing and repair of general industrial machinery, but in response to increasing demand, we introduced large processing machines and gradually implemented surface modification technologies such as hard chrome plating, thermal spraying, and special welding, which are also applied in regeneration processing techniques. Currently, we are capable of integrated production from machining to surface modification treatment within our own factory, allowing us to respond with low prices and short delivery times. Recently, the reuse of machine parts has become one of the pillars of our business. This aims to extend the lifespan of entire facilities through parts repair and regeneration processing utilizing the surface treatment technologies owned by Nishino Manufacturing. By expanding reuse, we have received great acclaim for our ability to simultaneously reduce costs associated with equipment repairs and waste. We aim to provide products that can respond to the diversification of needs while proposing total benefits to our customers, such as economic efficiency and reduced environmental impact, through the various processing technologies we possess.
