Traditionally, welding repair of cast iron parts (FC imono) has been considered a temporary fix, and welding repairs were deemed impossible. However, since 2002, Nishino Seisakusho Co., Ltd. has adopted a granular nickel alloy welding material and a unique heat treatment method, resulting in excellent weldability without the occurrence of secondary cracking, which could not be resolved with cast iron (FC imono) welding, and without making the material hard. Nishino Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in 1971 (Showa 46) in Muroran, Hokkaido, as a company specializing in the production of machine parts.
