Nine white LEDs are used as the light source, efficiently focusing light with reflectors and Fresnel lenses, and the illuminance distribution is analyzed over a range of 3 meters at a distance of about 2 meters. The left side shows the illuminance distribution designed with a beam angle of 45 degrees, while the right side shows the illuminance distribution designed with a beam angle widened to 55 degrees. In addition to quantitative analysis, it is also possible to visually indicate the spread and brightness of the spots by displaying peak illuminance in this way.

This is a simulation to confirm the state of imaging with a camera using lenses in the field of machine vision. First, as STEP:1, we will create and examine a model of a flat light source with no unevenness in the lighting section. We will arrange 25 LEDs in an array, and the light rays, including reflections inside the box, will ultimately be emitted through a diffusion plate. The diffusion plate is analyzed using a goniophotometer, and the obtained scattering data is graphed. The parameters calculated from fitting this graph are used as the simulation model. We will conduct a brightness simulation to check whether the diffused surface lighting examined here is uniformly illuminating the area of the work being inspected, and we will verify this through the brightness distribution.
