Changing the common sense of design! A proposal for the design and development departments in the sheet metal field.
Nishioka Iron Works Co., Ltd.'s fiber laser welding allows for welding of large products (workpieces) over 2 meters in size without the need for repositioning, thanks to the accompanying 4-meter transport cart. It is capable of handling reflective and difficult-to-weld materials due to its high energy efficiency. Simulations can be conducted in advance in conjunction with 3D CAD. It achieves a beautiful finish that can enter the painting process with almost no post-welding maintenance required. Would you like to reconsider the norms of design with our fiber laser welding solutions? [Examples of design proposals through re-evaluation of processing methods] - Products that cannot be bent can be divided and manufactured through welding. - Welding with minimal distortion allows for thinner plate thickness. - Products that were previously machined can be converted to sheet metal. Nishioka Iron Works Co., Ltd. originated in 1933 when it began contracting canning and painting operations as Nishioka Group within the factory of Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. In 1937, after starting production in its own factory, the company gradually focused on manufacturing various canned products, while also producing control panels and printing machine covers using thin sheets and metal plates. In 1981, amidst a trend where Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. outsourced the production of electrical components such as control panels, Nishioka Iron Works Co., Ltd. established an electrical division within the company. Furthermore, to maintain a consistent production system from design to manufacturing, assembly, and inspection, Nishioki Densō Co., Ltd. was established in 1983. The long-standing inheritance and development of technology have become the foundation of trust from our customers today.
