Discover the excellent properties of fluoropolymer coatings, and Shine Craft will solve your problems!
The characteristics of fluoropolymer resins include "non-stickiness," which makes it difficult for substances to adhere; "low friction coefficient," which allows for easy sliding; "electrical properties," such as anti-static and static prevention; "heat resistance," usable over a wide range from 260°C to -260°C; "non-wettability," which repels water and oil; and "chemical resistance," which prevents erosion by chemical solutions. Moreover, materials that can be coated with fluoropolymer resins include various metals such as aluminum, iron, stainless steel, copper, and brass, as well as a variety of other materials like glass, ceramics, rubber, and plastics. We have also increased our processing achievements for materials that have been difficult to process in the past, such as silicone rubber, ceramics, and plastics, by using our special undercoating treatment. There may still be opportunities for "that material" you were about to give up on. ◆ Inquiries ◆ When making an inquiry, it would be helpful to provide the following information for a smoother process: 1. The properties of the substrate to be coated (material, shape, size, etc.) 2. The purpose of the coating (e.g., non-stickiness, chemical resistance, slip properties, etc.) 3. Usage conditions (e.g., temperature, chemicals, wear conditions, etc.) * If possible, providing drawings would be beneficial for estimating costs.

basic information
○ Non-stick property The fluoropolymer coating has the characteristic of being difficult for most substances to stick to. ○ Low friction coefficient PTFE, FEP, PFA, and modified fluoropolymers have a very low friction coefficient. ○ Electrical properties Fluoropolymers possess the best electrical properties among all plastics. ○ Heat resistance PTFE and PFA coatings not only have heat resistance but also excel in low-temperature properties, allowing for a wide range of use from 260°C to -260°C, and can be used up to 310°C for short periods. ○ Non-wettability The surface of fluoropolymers repels both oil and water, so it does not get wet from most solutions used in industrial operations, meaning surfaces coated with fluoropolymers remain mostly clean. ○ Chemical resistance Fluoropolymers are resistant to almost all chemicals; however, in the case of coatings, the thinness of the film can lead to the occurrence of pinholes, and when used with highly permeable chemicals, penetration can become a significant issue. For corrosion resistance, thicker coatings of FEP and PFA are suitable, and modified fluoropolymers can also be used for certain chemicals. PTFE is not suitable for corrosion resistance as it cannot avoid pinholes.

Applications/Examples of results
○Mold: Applying a fluorine coating to molds for resin and rubber forming that utilize non-stick properties will improve work efficiency. ○Table: Protecting the substrate from chemicals and heat, while also reducing cleaning time, offers significant advantages. ○Piston Rod: It is possible to enhance the sliding properties of piston rods inside punches, thereby extending their lifespan. ○Bolts and Nuts: It is also recommended to apply fluorine processing to bolts and nuts that are prone to corrosion, taking advantage of their corrosion resistance.
