【Features】 ○ R-62 chrome has a Vickers hardness that is approximately 100 HV higher than that of Sargent chrome, and the reduction in hardness due to heat treatment is also less for R-62 chrome. ○ In its plated state, R-62 chrome exhibits about twice the wear resistance of Sargent chrome, and even after heat treatment, R-62 chrome shows superior wear resistance. ○ It has micro-cracks, with a higher crack density compared to Sargent chrome (the crack density of R-62 chrome is approximately 1,600 cracks/cm, about 10 times that of Sargent chrome). ○ Applying R-62 chrome to a steel substrate can further enhance corrosion resistance. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
