Microplate measurement mechanism. It is a mechanism that reads the absorbance of each well while moving a microplate that incorporates optical fibers, optical lenses, and an optical sensor substrate.

Optical Fiber Light emitted from the light source unit is collected at the incident end face of the optical fiber after passing through the selected wavelength interference filter installed in the optical filter wheel, and is then divided into eight fibers for sample measurement and one fiber for reference.

Optical lens It shapes the light from the irradiated end face branched by the optical fiber into a beam shape that allows for optimal measurement of the sample within the well of the microplate.

Optical sensor substrate A substrate with optical sensors arranged to detect light passing through samples in the wells of a microplate.

Microplate holder Holds the microplate in the designated position. An integrated heating element can be added if necessary.

LCD substrate It will display the settings and measurement results of the UV-visible microplate reader.

Control board communicates with the connected computer and controls the operation and measurement of the equipment.

Light source unit This is an integrated mechanism that combines the light source used for measurement and the optical filter wheel that selects the measurement wavelength. The light sources used include tungsten halogen lamps and LEDs.
