The Joint Keeper was developed to solve the problems of traditional joint treatment methods. The concrete substrate can rise above 60°C due to summer sunlight and drop to around -20°C due to radiative cooling in winter. This temperature difference (80°C) causes the expansion joint width, installed at a 3m pitch, to widen and compress by an average of about 2.5mm. 【Features】 ○ Simply remove the cap from the existing expansion joint, apply primer, and stick the Joint Keeper to complete the joint treatment. ○ Easy to handle due to its tape shape. ○ Adheres to the substrate with the self-adhesive layer on the back of the tape. ○ Flattens the expansion joint with the incorporated flat metal pieces in the tape. ○ Can be easily cut at any location where metal pieces are not incorporated.
