LLFA Smooth: Putty specifically for LLFA tape, for leak repairs and insulation treatment.
LLFA Smooth (R1-5-8C-SJP)
Joint gaps and corrosion irregularities are also acceptable!
LLFA Smooth is a supplementary filling putty specifically designed for the self-fusing tape LLFA Tape. It is used in conjunction with LLFA Tape when there are uneven surfaces at joint areas or when the surface of the installation is uneven due to corrosion. It can be torn and used like clay, allowing for the leveling of steps and gaps, making it easy to apply to joint steps, screw threads, and uneven areas caused by corrosion, thereby significantly expanding the range of application. This unique system, which uses putty in conjunction, effectively fills steps and gaps, providing higher sealing performance. *Note: LLFA Smooth alone cannot be used for insulation or leak repairs.*

Applications/Examples of results
It is the most commonly used insulating sealant in recent years for generator maintenance at hydroelectric power plants in Ontario Power, Ontario, Canada, as well as in electric and power-related companies within the United States. Since 2007, it has been used by domestic electric power companies in Japan (generator output and 66kV live line work, underground transmission lines, etc.), construction consulting firms (distribution), and equipment maintenance companies (leak repair). It has a proven track record for use in leak prevention for various automotive hoses. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance (over 20 years), it has been adopted in Europe as a protective material for pipelines. ■ For more details, please contact us.

Company information
Our company, founded in 1994, has expanded its business from automotive cleaning services to the manufacturing of chemicals used in those services. Starting in the 2007 fiscal year, we ventured into the electrical sector as a new business, beginning with our role as the exclusive distributor in Japan for high-performance self-fusing silicone tape manufactured by GTG Engineering in the United States. We plan to sequentially develop silicone products and urethane products as applications of the technology cultivated in the electrical and electronic sectors and in the manufacturing of automotive chemicals.
