Stainless Steel Spring "High-Performance Fluororesin Coated O-Ring for Extremely Low Temperatures"
Excellent chemical resistance! O-ring type sealing ring with excellent heat and cold resistance.
Stainless steel springs with ultra-low temperature high-performance fluoropolymer (PTFE) coated O-rings are available in a wide range of sizes, from a wire diameter of 1.6mm to 25.4mm, including products equivalent to JIS and AN standards, as well as special sizes. O-seals are made by bonding and fusing materials, allowing for the production of large diameter seals, such as those with a diameter of 5m. The manufacturer, Chrysler Encapsulated Seals in the United States, has a proven track record with these seals, and their performance and quality are well-regarded. 【Features】 ■ Excellent chemical and solvent resistance, preventing contamination of fluids (products) ■ Excellent heat and cold resistance (FEP: -250℃ to +260℃, PFA: -250℃ to +260℃) ■ Compatible with conventional O-ring sizes, allowing for easy modifications For more details, please contact us or download the catalog. *This catalog is in English.

Teflon® Packing and Seal Teflon seals (packing and gaskets) refer to sealing components made primarily from fluororesin. Their performance is excellent in heat and cold resistance, and they are not affected by various fluids (liquids and gases), including general chemical agents and solvents, allowing them to be used under harsh conditions from vacuum to high pressure. Additionally, their non-stick and low-friction properties make them suitable for dynamic applications, and their ability to be used as seals for extended periods is one of their significant features. However, they are prone to wear and can easily deform (creep) under high temperature and high pressure, so it is common to fill them with materials such as fiberglass, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and carbon fiber to mitigate these effects. In design, attention is needed regarding the structure of the device, surface treatment and hardening of sliding parts, and the structure and material selection of the seal (packing and gasket). Particularly, selecting seals requires extensive knowledge and experience. Please feel free to consult us when considering your options.
