basic information
The product comes with firmware source code and RF module control source code, allowing developers to focus on the signal processing part of the development. This product uses Microblaze on an FPGA to facilitate communication between the PC and the FPGA, and it includes firmware source code that operates on Microblaze by default. This product includes FPGA source code for controlling the RF module (300MHz to 3.8GHz). The wireless signal identification IP core bundled with this product enables signal identification without demodulating the communication method of the received radio waves. We have confirmed that this IP core can identify commercial LTE and commercial WCDMA signals, making it useful in real-world applications. Dolphin System offers development services using software-defined radios from National Instruments, including the USRP series. Until now, prototype development using software-defined radios has been limited to specific applications, but recently, they have been used in advanced projects such as 5G and mmWave, rapidly spreading in Japan and displacing traditional radio system development. Dolphin System has numerous development examples as a leader in development services using software-defined radios.
