【Overview of Operation Method】 [During Freezing] ○ Prepare liquid nitrogen inside a clean bench. ○ Detach primate ES/iPS cells from colonies using a dissociation solution (0.25% trypsin/1mg/ml collagenase IV/PBS solution). ○ Centrifuge the collected cells and remove the medium. → If freezing multiple vials, keep them on ice and operate one by one. ○ Add 200μl of this product, pipette well, and as quickly as possible (within 1 minute is a guideline), immerse the vial in liquid nitrogen. ○ Store in a liquid nitrogen tank or a -130℃ deep freezer. [During Thawing] ○ Prepare medium warmed to 37℃, and prepare the required number of centrifuge tubes containing 9ml of medium. ※ Thawing should be done one vial at a time. ○ Transport the vial of cells frozen with this product to the clean bench while it is in liquid nitrogen in a Dewar flask or similar. ○ Open the lid of the retrieved vial, quickly add 1ml of the warmed medium, and pipette to dissolve. ○ Transfer the entire volume from step 3 to the prepared centrifuge tube containing 9ml of medium, and centrifuge to wash. ○ Seed onto feeder cells and culture. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The establishment of BioVerde Co., Ltd. originated from the selection of the pre-venture research "Development of a Long-term Preservation Solution for Biological Tissues at Room Temperature" at Kyoto University in October 2003 by the Japan Science and Technology Agency. Following the conclusion of this pre-venture period, we founded the venture in March 2006 as a spin-off from Kyoto University to further develop the research and advance it towards commercialization. To date, we have engaged in research and development and manufacturing of new preservation solutions for transplantable cells, biological tissues, and organs using plant-derived polyphenols, as well as the development and manufacturing of food products utilizing green tea, green tea extracts (such as catechins), and similar ingredients.
