"BEAR-LOC" is a mechanical locking cylinder that locks pistons and rods using the principle of tight fitting. To unlock, pressurized oil (unlock pressure) is injected into the unlock port to create clearance between the tube and the piston (rod). By injecting pressurized oil, the resistance of the piston (rod) is minimized, allowing for movement.
