1) It is lighter and more affordable compared to the conventional Y-type strainer. 2) The spacing dimensions are the same as the elbow of the fitting, allowing it to be incorporated into existing bent piping. 3) The piping space is reduced, enabling the equipment installed to be more compact. 4) Due to the use of fine mesh, it is ideal for preventing clogging of solenoid valves, control valves, coil pipe nozzles, etc. 5) The main body is made of metal, so it will not be accidentally damaged during plumbing work. 6) The cap and strainer part are made of resin and are integrally molded, making them available at a low cost. 7) This greatly simplifies maintenance work, and the strainer part can be replaced and disposed of. 8) The replacement of the strainer part comes with a hand-turn knob and is sealed with an O-ring, so no tools are required. Therefore, the final user of the installed equipment can easily perform the replacement themselves (reducing maintenance costs). 9) In the unlikely event of a "knob" breakage, a hexagonal section is provided at its end, allowing it to be removed with tools. 10) The installation direction is not restricted, but in the case of downward flow as shown in the diagram, a debris collection area is provided at the cap part, resulting in less clogging.
