Due to the principles of magnetism, thin metal objects like broken needles or slender rods may sometimes be missed depending on the direction they enter the sensor gate, resulting in a weaker signal. The double-gate detection machine minimizes the chances of missing broken needles by allowing them to pass through two sensor gates at an ideal angle difference of 60°. This has made it possible to detect small broken needles that were previously overlooked by conventional detection machines. The double-gate detection machine eliminates the need for double scanning, thus preventing errors.
