- Reproducing the frequency lighting of traffic signals at 50Hz-60Hz - Model change has been made. Comparison materials are also available.
Most traffic lights in Japan have a flashing cycle of 50Hz or 60Hz. Although the human eye cannot perceive this flicker, cameras can capture it. This can cause flickering and may also prevent the camera from accurately capturing what color the traffic light is displaying. With CMOS sensors, there can be instances where the areas that capture light when the light is off and when it is on coexist, resulting in a video that appears with black bands. This device is a light source that reproduces these effects. The lighting frequency can be set between 10 to 1500Hz, including 50Hz for the Kanto region and 60Hz for the Kansai region. The peak wavelengths of the Blue, Yellow, and Red LEDs used are set to the average wavelengths of traffic lights. In addition to being able to see the LED elements like in actual traffic lights, it is also possible to include a diffusion plate to emit light over a surface.
