One of the important features of the "double valve" is that the valve has a duplex (dual mechanism). This valve incorporates two independent 3/2 normally closed three-way valves into a single common body. Each of these two main valve bodies is operated by a dedicated 3/2 normally closed pilot valve. When both pilot valves are energized simultaneously, both main valve bodies operate at the same time.
