Surface hardening method of salt bath soft nitriding "Isonite treatment" [Greatly improves heat resistance]
Achieving heat resistance of over 500℃! "Isonite treatment" enables the rationalization and cost reduction of aluminum extrusion molds and die-cast mold components.
"Isonite treatment (low-temperature salt bath nitriding)" is a surface hardening method that forms a nitrided layer on metal surfaces. It significantly improves the fatigue strength of steel, cast iron, and sintered metals. The formation of the nitrided layer exhibits high heat and wear resistance even at temperatures ranging from 300 to 600°C, and aluminum extrusion molds and die-cast mold components treated with Isonite do not soften even when heated to 500°C. The improvements in heat resistance, wear resistance, and resistance to thermal cracking associated with Isonite treatment greatly contribute to rationalization and cost reduction. 【Features】 ■ Improved heat resistance and wear resistance ■ Increased fatigue strength ■ Enhanced resistance to thermal cracking ■ Improved corrosion resistance ■ Significant contribution to rationalization and cost reduction *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Million Chemical Co., Ltd. is a comprehensive manufacturer of metal surface treatment, cleaning agents, and chemicals, advancing research and development for a future that anticipates higher quality and evolution, while considering the global environment and resource conservation. Since its establishment in February 1957, the company has contributed daily to the development of "manufacturing" through the development of surface treatment technologies focused on preventing corrosion and anti-corrosion measures for materials centered around metals, as well as improving the quality of pretreatment that affects the aesthetics and adhesion performance of coatings, which are essential for product appearance. In recent years, while advancing responses to new materials due to technological innovations, the company has also been conducting research and development of environmentally friendly products that take energy conservation and global environmental issues into full consideration. As a company that utilizes global resources, it is making strides toward the future of the Earth. In August 2009, the company obtained certification for the international standard for environmental management systems (ISO 14001), establishing a framework to engage in global environmental conservation.
