High-speed cutting, high-speed positioning! KIRA original rotary table.
This is a rotary index table developed for automotive parts processing. It is an original option specifically designed for our machining centers. We recommend it to customers who want to perform high-speed indexing processing and are considering improving productivity. It features no backlash, and there is no positional deviation during forward and reverse rotation, allowing for high-precision positioning. High-speed indexing is possible due to the roller gear transmission mechanism. Thanks to the preloading effect, long-term maintenance is unnecessary.

basic information
■ Basic Structure A mechanism that arranges a cam on the input shaft and a turret on the output shaft, transmitting power through rollers (cam followers). As the cam rotates once, the turret's roller rotates by one pitch. Since multiple rollers are always engaged, it enables high-precision and high-rigidity torque transmission. ■ Rolling Contact Because the engagement is through rollers, it is possible to apply a slight preload from a geometric engagement state to eliminate backlash. Unlike sliding contact like gears, rolling contact results in less energy loss, with a transmission efficiency of about 90%, making it an environmentally friendly method. ◆ For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
