Hyperion is a color luminance meter developed for inline inspection and measurement of displays, requiring stability over a long period.
The XYZ interference filter of the detection unit has adopted a spectral response (CIE 1931 color matching functions) that closely matches the sensitivity of the human eye, resulting in a significant improvement in measurement accuracy compared to conventional color luminance meters, enabling color measurement on par with spectral methods. Additionally, the dynamic range and sensitivity have also been enhanced, allowing for a substantial reduction in measurement time for low-luminance samples.
