Using an aluminum heat sink allows for high-temperature operation with minimal airflow. These high-power DC-DC converters are designed to accommodate a very wide 4:1 input range, making them ideal for applications driven by fluctuating devices such as batteries, which experience significant voltage variations during charging and discharging.
